Resignation letter format: simple samples you can copy

A short, polite resignation letter with a sample for immediate notice, a standard notice period and a mid-month exit.

Keep it short and polite

A resignation letter is a record, not a place to explain everything. Say that you are resigning, give your last working day and thank the company. You may need a reference and an experience letter later, so stay positive.
